At age 5, April’s lifelong musical journey began with violin lessons. There, she learned the value of practice and hard work, along with the thrill of mastering a complicated tune with a beautiful instrument. She has participated in many performing groups and competitions over the years, her favorite being the National Federation of Music, where she earned every gold cup possible! As a sophomore in high school, she began to play the Viola and was instantly hooked. April went on to college to major in Music Education with an emphasis in Viola.
