Bosendorfer Liszt
Art Case Grand Pianos
In 1828, a young piano virtuoso named Franz Liszt was gaining fame for his passionate concert performances. Unfortunately, his passion often resulted in the destruction of nearly every piano he played. It wasn't until Liszt - acting on the advice of a friend - selected a new Bosendorfer for his next concert that he was delighted to discover a piano that could withstand his powerful playing! Overnight, Bosendorfer became a household name and a close friendship between Ignaz Bosendorfer and Franz Liszt evolved. Franz Liszt would go on to become Bosendorfer's first artist endorser and the proud owner of several Bosendorfer pianos.
Pianists have always found a reliable partner in a Bosendorfer Grand Piano. The Liszt Anniversary Grand Piano by Bosendorfer is a tribute to friendship - and eventual partnership - that made Bosendorfer a household name around the world. Available in a variety of sizes and finishes, this stunning piano evokes the classic sensibilities of "Olde World Europe" with rounded, Victorian legs and a breathtaking scrollwork music desk featuring a gilded relief of the piano's namesake.
"The perfection of a Bosendorfer exceeds my wildest expectations." - Franz Liszt (1811 - 1886)
