Riverton Music was founded in 1968 by Hal Rindlisbacher.  As band director at Kearns High School, he was regularly found fixing his student’s band instruments in the chicken coop behind his house.  As years went on, the small repair shop evolved into Utah’s premier full line music store with pianos, band & orchestra instruments, print music, guitars, drums and more.  In 1989, Hal’s son, Kevin, purchased the business from his father and has expanded into several locations throughout the Wasatch Front and beyond.
